I love wearing things that have a romantic twist to it. I think this sweater is something that goes along those lines. It was a consignment store find and it was love at first sight! It is a great Fall and Spring sweater as it has holes in the knitting. It isn’t too warm or too cool.
This was one of my last tights-less days. The weather was in the high 60’s, so I figured I could squeeze one more day with bare legs. This skirt doesn’t like tights, so it was a good choice. After so many years of not using slips, it seems I have gotten back into wearing them. Many of my skirts get sticky with tights or are a little see-through, so they have found a way back into my lingerie drawer. Finding a decently fitting full slip has been tough, though. I am still looking for that. Most don’t have enough room in the bust area. I have found a few options on Amazon, so I will try to order those, eventually. I hate trying to return things in the mail. I usually don’t think it is worth the effort if they didn’t cost too much.
Yes, I am a bit lazy at times!
Sweater – Ann Taylor
Shirt – Express
Skirt – Made by Me
Heels – Franco Sarto
Jewelry – Garnets and Gold, gift from the hubby when we were dating many, many, many moons ago
Hair – I did a small bun on top, then split the bottom half into two different braids. I fluffed out the braids, wrapped them around the bun, one at a time, and pinned them.
A beautiful autumn outfit. I love the colors you’ve selected. The skirt and blouse are lovely. I really like this straight neckline.
