It seems crazy that we are to May!
My accomplishments this week
Focus Photo –
It was a nice night (though a bit chilly once the sun went down) to enjoy some softball. The girls won two games and tied the third.
Sewing –
- I should pretty much just say bye-bye to the 52 week sewing challenges, since I haven’t done one for awhile. I just don’t have the time right now, unfortunately. The one and only thing I made last week was this top with my fabric design.
- #makenine progress: Nothing this week.
- Upcoming sewing I need to get done is to take in a prom dress and hem the 3 layers of skirt. Super fun. That was probably the reason why nothing got done last week. It is hard to get the urge to go down and do alterations.
- The girl is in need of summer shirts. The boy probably is, too. Guess I will be trying to come up with some of that this week in between alterations.
House cleaning –
Instead of going to a volleyball tournament, I stayed home and cleaned floors. Some times you just gotta get stuff done.
Time with family –
Sunday was more of a family day. We had a nice long brunch and also went to see Black Panther. Now to go see Infinity Wars this weekend!
Health, exercising, making healthy meals –
- Our exercise room was in a shambles, so no exercising.
- I mostly stuck to my meal plan last week, though the ham finally got made this Monday. Lots of running last weekend again.
- Meal plan for this next week:
- Monday – Ham and potatoes with gravy (yum, yum)
- Tuesday – Leftovers from the ham
- Wednesday – 20th Anniversary…not sure yet
- Thursday – Something simple, lots of sports running. Probably tacos.
- Friday – Chicken curry
- Saturday – Chicken fried steak (I am weak…I saw a video from the Food Network)
- Sunday – Sockeye salmon with roasted garlic potatoes and salad
Creative Design
I think this was the only thing I drew last week.

You guess it…nothin’!
We are counting down until school is done (and mostly school softball). Only a little over a month and my kids will be home will me all day. Jesus give me patience!
