This hairstyle is good in multiple ways. If I do it when my hair is wet and fresh from the shower, the next morning I just take them out of the braids and they are all nice and kinky. Instant hairstyle!
I did have a shot of the style from behind, but I didn’t realize after a long day some of my pins were coming out. So…no back shot.
This style is done by doing two french braids, split down the middle. I did them by wrapping underneath, so the braid is sticking out on top. Then I put them in a pony tail and use 3″ pins to secure as I wrap them around.
Boy…do I need to dye my hair or what?? The color is a bit off in this picture, but the roots are still showing a bit too much. That will be a project for the weekend, most definitely.
I was really thrilled with how these necklaces and pashmina shawl matched. I got the stone necklace as a gift and hadn’t worn it before. I wore this over a short-sleeved turneck sweater dress and skinny jeans with black boots. A dressy, casual outfit for work.
