I decided to participate in another blog tour by Made for Little Gents, and this time it was about making more than just a basic t-shirt for boys.
The blog tour was sponsored by GYCT Designs, and they offered the blog tour participants the Primary Tee. There is a giveaway and sale included! The sale is running from July 2-July 15, and customers can save $2 using code “SEWBLUE” off of the Primary Tee pattern.
The shirt was too small for my teenager, so I did not use it for the tour. I used instead the Draper from Wardrobe by Me (affiliate link – see disclosure policy on sidebar), which is becoming a staple for my boy.
I made him a size M (plenty long for his height (5’11” this week)).
To “change up the t-shirt”, I added a HTV applique I drew. To have a different look, I placed it along the side seam instead of in the center of the shirt. It’s a dragon snake (made up mythical creature of sorts that looks cool). 😉
The fabric for the shirt is from Nature’s Fabrics and is bamboo jersey spandex (red) and bamboo jersey (black).
I was going to get a little more creative…but I just ran out of time. Story of my life lately!
Visit the tour for all the fun makes for boys!
