Here is the next version and top #7 using this pattern. At least they are all a little bit different!
I used two types of fabric on this one. The periwinkle blue is a stretchy synthetic fabric. It could be used as a bottom-weight, if you so desired, as it has a nice thickness. The spotted fabric is a rayon, which has nice drapeyness and a little bit of stretch against the grain. It was another one-off fabric for the bin that looked like the machine had eaten part of it.
I did a cowl neck with the drapey rayon, and also some sleeves that I made wide on the bottom. They are nice and floaty. I also used it on the pleat in the back to add a bit of decoration.
I really like how this one fit (and it looks nice with the skirt I made last Spring). Another one to enter into the Spring Top Sewalong pool. 🙂
The colour is stunning on you and I love the pleats at the back!Plus the pretty fabric around the neck! Good job all round. Love this one.
