This skirt is the same skirt pattern that I made on the skirt I wore on Monday and Tuesday this week. This one I added a kick flounce to the back, though. Can you tell it is my favorite skirt? I love it when I find something that is flattering and comfy and EASY for me to make.
These shoes are new, and I bought another pair in blue. They are definitely sky high heels and a bit on the cheap side. I went into the teen/clubbing mecca that is Charlotte Russe and I just couldn’t resist them and their $20/each price tag. They almost bring me up to eye level with my 6’3″ hubby, which he finds infinitely attractive. ; ) I just wish it didn’t seem like I was going to snap off the heels if I walk too hard on them.
Then we had the fire alarm go off at work today. It was pouring outside with a thunderstorm. I had to walk down 5 flights of stairs in these puppies, but luckily they aren’t too hard to walk in. Stable enough, so I didn’t fall anyways! Once we got to the bottom they said, “False alarm! The construction just set it off. You can go back up.” I should have just stayed in my office and closed the door.

Shoes – Charlotte Russe
Jewelry – Lia Sophia (I love how the necklace looks like stepping stones)
Hair Day #11 – Hair braid headband
This hairstyle is taking the hair from the ears forward, split at the crown and french braiding each side. Then I wrap them up and around, pinning along the way. Sometimes I straighten the back, but this was just hair that I washed the night before with my natural wave. The wierd part about my hair is that my top layer is a bit straight, but underneath it is wavy. With a hairstyle like this, it takes most of the straight hair and puts it up so everything looks more uniform.
